Extended Operations Adds New Game+, TacSim Missions, and Photo Mode
IO Interactive and Amazon MGM Studios have released Extended Operations, a free DLC for 007 First Light. Available now, the update adds New Game+, a tougher 00 difficulty, Photo Mode, and new Tactical Simulation missions. The TacSim additions include four Aston Martin Valhalla challenges and a return to The Pearl in Vietnam.
We also reviewed 007 First Light on PS5 and awarded it 9.5/10.
Complete the campaign on any difficulty to unlock New Game+. You can replay it from the beginning or from any completed checkpoint with your unlocked outfits and gadgets. New Game+ also unlocks 00 difficulty, which makes enemies react faster to bodies and disturbances, brings in tougher guards, restricts gadget use in guards' line of sight, and makes combat less forgiving with two-hit kills and tighter parry and sidestep timing.
New TacSim Operations
The Valhalla Protocol adds four missions in Slovakia's mountains, where Bond drives the Aston Martin Valhalla through day and night challenges.

Another mission returns him to The Pearl, Vietnam, to retrieve classified documents from a guarded villa. The whole property, including its rooftop, is playable, and the villa interior has been redesigned to create more stealth opportunities. TacSim missions also add the campaign's full weapon arsenal.
Photo Mode lets players pause the action and adjust the camera, lens, brightness, filters, character poses, backgrounds, and logos. The DLC also refines weapon-handling animations and lets enemies throw Bond off ledges, so players need to watch their footing.
007 First Light is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with a Nintendo Switch 2 version planned for March 2027. Visit the official 007 First Light site for more information.
