Spellfall is a falling-tile word puzzle where you drop letters, rotate the board, and swipe through tiles to spell words. Longer words earn more points, while reusing letters builds their value and gives you another reason to plan ahead.
On iPhone, the mix put me in mind of Wordle and Threes, and I respect what it’s trying to do. I love the art style and the customization options, and combining word finding with a board you need to manage is an interesting idea. These aren’t usually my kind of games, though, and Spellfall didn’t quite change that for me. If they’re your thing, I’d definitely give it a try, especially since it’s free with ads.
