SIGNAL LOST
An intriguing space-survival horror premise I wanted to explore, but Xbox controller support held back my Ally X session.
SIGNAL LOST is a psychological horror game about keeping a failing escape pod operational on the journey to Venus. Its Steam description promises a scramble to type commands, repair systems, and juggle emergencies after the destruction of your cargo ship.
The opening moments of the review build caught my interest, and reading more about that premise made me want to keep going. On the ROG Xbox Ally X, though, I couldn’t continue using the built-in Xbox controls, and Steam doesn’t list controller support. That cut my session short before I could get a proper feel for the game beyond its introduction. There’s something really interesting here that I’d love to explore, but I can’t say how well it holds up from the little I managed to play.
Played using a review build. Impressions are limited to the opening moments because I couldn’t continue with the Ally X’s built-in Xbox controls.
