Modular Weapon System
The new modular system allows players to customize most rifles and shotguns with interchangeable components.
Each firearm now consists of a base frame and multiple attachable parts, enabling detailed personalization across 156 parts and 30 weapon frames.

Customization can be performed using bench vises located at bases and hideouts. Parts are available for purchase via the UNPSC Store or can be recovered while exploring the Radius. Some components are exclusive to vendors, while others are obtainable only through scavenging.
Supported Firearms
- AK-74
- AKM
- AKS-74U
- IZH-27
- Saiga-12
- M4A1
- PP-19 Bizon
- G36
- Refreshed PP-91 Kedr
Legacy Weapons
The following weapons continue to use the previous, non-modular system:
PM, GSh-18, Beretta M9, Glock 18C, Fort-17, SKS, AS Val, VSS Vintorez, and OTs-14 Groza.
Players can experiment by combining compatible parts from different firearms. If a component fits, it will automatically appear on the weapon, allowing extensive creative freedom in loadout design.
New Firearms
Five additional weapons expand the game’s arsenal:
- Mosin (7.62×54)
- Benelli M2 (12 gauge)
- PP-19-01 Vityaz (9×19)
- MP9 (9×19)
- SR-25 (7.62×51)
Each new firearm features distinct handling characteristics and gameplay roles, providing additional tactical diversity.
Mag Palming and Enhanced Reloading
The introduction of mag palming allows players to hold two magazines in one hand or manage multiple shotgun shells simultaneously.

For compatible rifles (AKM, AK-74, AKS-74U, SVD, Saiga-12, and G36), it is now possible to eject a spent magazine by pushing it out with a fresh one, significantly accelerating reload speed.
This mechanic also extends to traversal, enabling players to grip the same ladder rung with both hands for a smoother climbing experience.
New Points of Interest and World Updates
Update 0.14 expands the explorable world with three new Points of Interest and substantial environmental upgrades.
Terrain generation has been refined with improved ravines, slopes, and dugouts, while ambient soundscapes and building interiors have been reworked for greater immersion.
Newly Added Locations
- Anomalous Maze Area (Peninsula): A complex, late-game location accessible through new missions.
- Church (Forest): A redesigned and atmospheric version of an existing area.
- Recreation Base (Forest): A complete replacement of a previous POI, offering new exploration opportunities.
Enemy and AI Improvements
Enemy AI has been significantly refined. Mimics now assess environmental factors and player actions more effectively, enabling more adaptive combat behavior, including strategic retreats and ambushes.

Adjustments to nighttime encounters provide players with a longer detection window when using flashlights or laser sights.
In addition, invisible fragments, now known as Phantoms, return to the game as a new enemy type.
Advanced Artifact Detector (Level 2)
A new version of the Artifact Detector is now available for purchase.

The Level 2 detector can locate both existing and newly introduced invisible artifacts, similar to mechanics seen in the first Into the Radius title.
