By harnessing the power of AR or Augmented Reality, we now have a general idea of how big the PS5 actually is. The guys over at Imperium Apps GmbH have created a couple of AR experiences that do just that. In the following video, you can see the PS5 standing vertically next to a PS4 Pro. One thing to keep in mind is that, according to them, the scale of the consoles is 1:1 based on the calculations that other people have made by using the disc tray as a reference point.

But why stop there? In this next video, you can see how the PS5 compares to the Xbox Series X when it comes to the size. Both consoles are placed vertically and while yes, the PS5 is taller than the Xbox Series X, it is slimmer than the Series X. In my opinion, both consoles look unique in their own ways, but you be the judge of that.

And lastly since these two videos exploded on Twitter with like 500k views in just 2 days, people were wondering how the PS5 would look on its side so they went ahead and did just that. In the next video you can see how both versions of the PS5, the Standard and the Digital Edition, look like sideways.

The best part of this being in AR is that you too can play around with them and see how the upcoming new consoles will look like in your own setup. Go ahead and download Particular Augmented Reality app exclusively on iOS and check them out yourself.
