As a fan of the Resident Evil franchise, I was eagerly awaiting the release of the remake of Resident Evil 3. And I must say, I was not disappointed. The game is a perfect blend of classic survival horror and modern gameplay mechanics.

The first thing that stands out about the game is the incredible graphics. The visuals are simply breathtaking, with highly detailed environments that make you feel like you're really in the doomed city of Raccoon. The lighting is also superb, with flickering shadows that add to the eerie atmosphere.

The gameplay is smooth and intuitive, with an easy-to-use interface that makes it easy to switch weapons and items on the fly. The combat system is also very satisfying, with responsive controls and a wide variety of weapons to choose from. The dodge mechanic is a new addition that adds an extra layer of strategy to combat.

The story remains faithful to the original, but with some new twists and turns that keep things interesting. The characters are well-developed and their interactions feel natural and believable. Jill Valentine, the game's protagonist, is a strong and resourceful character who is easy to root for.

One of the standout features of the game is the Nemesis. This hulking monster is one of the most terrifying enemies in the franchise's history, and his appearances are always intense and heart-pounding. The chase sequences are particularly memorable, with the Nemesis relentlessly pursuing you through the city streets.

The only downside to the game is that it feels a bit shorter than some of the other entries in the series. However, the game's high replayability factor more than makes up for this. With multiple difficulty levels, unlockable costumes, and a shop where you can purchase upgrades, there's plenty of incentive to keep playing.

In conclusion, Resident Evil 3 is a fantastic remake that successfully captures the spirit of the original while also updating it for modern audiences. The gameplay is solid, the graphics are stunning, and the story is engaging. If you're a fan of survival horror or the Resident Evil franchise, this is definitely a game worth playing. Thanks for reading!

The game was reviewed on a Series X. Resident Evil 3 Remake is available on PC, Playstation and Xbox.
