Is GTA 6 coming to PC?

What is the GTA 6 release date?
Grand Theft Auto VI releases on Thursday, November 19, 2026. Rockstar announced the current date in November 2025 after moving the game from its previous May 2026 target.

Will GTA 6 be on PC at launch?
Based on Rockstar's current announcements, GTA 6 will not have a confirmed PC version at launch. Only PS5 and Xbox Series X|S can currently be preordered.
That wording matters: the absence of a PC announcement is not proof that a port will never happen. It only means Rockstar has not confirmed one, and there is no reliable PC release window to report yet. Previous Rockstar release patterns can provide context, but they cannot establish a GTA 6 date.
Can you preorder GTA 6 on PC?

Which consoles can run GTA 6?

Rockstar labels the game as optimized for Xbox Series X|S on the Xbox store. Its official GTA 6 page lists both console families and says the game “plays best on” PS5, while still confirming Xbox Series X|S as launch platforms.
When can GTA 6 be preloaded?
Preloading begins at local midnight on November 12, 2026, one week before launch. Rockstar says digital preorders can begin preloading then.
The physical Standard Edition is also scheduled to become available from November 12. However, Rockstar's support documentation says the physical box contains a download code rather than a game disc, allowing buyers to redeem the code and preload the game.
Will GTA 6 support crossplay?
Rockstar has not confirmed GTA 6 crossplay or cross-platform multiplayer. The company currently describes GTA 6 as a single-player experience, so there is no announced GTA 6 Online feature set to compare across PS5 and Xbox yet.
