Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Review

Modern Warfare 3 is the third and final game, I think, in the series and let me tell you, it is the best of the three!

The game continues the story of Price and Soap trying to find and end Makarov's life. It starts with a cinematic intro summarizing what has happened in MW2. Then it begins Call of Duty style. You take control Yuri, an ex-spetsnaz who hates Makarov more than Price and Soap combined. Why? Play the game to find out. Soap is badly injured , from MW2 ending, so you and Price and other fellows must protect him while a doctor patches him up. Lots and lots of enemy soldiers come at you and I think you know what might happen next... :D

World War 3 has started! New York, Hamburg, Prague, Paris are some of the place you will fight in. There are also a new batch of character thrown in and they are all amazing. Frost, Sandman, Sabre and many others.

The destruction that has been visited on these iconic locations is visually stunning, making the stakes seem higher than ever before. As you shift among remote air support control, on-foot firefights, and tense vehicle sequences, the expert pacing keeps you engaged and eager to take on the next threat. There are also new mechanics which make some of the missions quite astonishing like zero gravity in a falling presidential airplane. And the set pieces, oh my god, they are better than ever. From exploding naval ships, falling sky scrapers,  the fall of Eiffel Tower and many other amazing set pieces. The game throws everything at you and it feels like you are at a real battlefield.

The campaign also has a few unnerving sights and thrilling tricks up its sleeve, and the latter are more successful than the former. There is also a lot of painful moments for the player where you can cry like 3 or 4 times but I will not spoil that.

Special Ops is back in MW3 and the missions were fantastic. Get a friend to play with you and you are in for a treat. The missions were alterations of the campaign missions. It adds to the game a high replay value.

Then it's the multiplayer. At first I really enjoyed it, but then it became boring because of the players. I got in a lobby, waited to fill and jumped in the game. I killed somebody and immediately heard him calling me a noob, that I had no life and many other stupid things, I muted him and the same thing happened with another player. Then they started camping behind doors, going prone all the time, oh god why... In another lobby a player got a MOAB and he started shouting in the microphone "Oh my God" like a million times, then another player started moaning after he got a MOAB and I asked myself "Are they retarded or what?". I rage quited and started playing the campaign again. I am not saying that the multiplayer is bad, it is very good, but the players are just...

Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games have done an amazing job with the end of the trilogy. The campaign is EPIC, awesome story, awesome twists and turns along the way, the voice acting is perfect and the graphics better than ever. Spec Ops is great and the multiplayer is great too, only as I said, players kinda ruin it. Modern Warfare 3 is a must buy for everyone, so get out and go buy it immediately.
