Shank 2 Review

Shank 2 is the sequel to the 2010 Shank and let me tell you that the sequel is better and bigger than the first one.

You take role of Shank, a dude on steroids with an immense desire to kill people. The story is simple. Shank must rescue his old friend but in the way of doing so he become part of the rebellion to overthrow the dictatorship of Magnus. He goes into a killing spree, destroying everything in it’s path, be that thugs, amazonian warriors and even animals. He is fueled by rage. There are some epic moments in the game like Shank cutting a helicopter in half with the chainsaw or ripping the jaws of a shark.

Shoot Many Robots Review

Shoot Many Robots is something really special. I grew up in the arcade playing many games. But one that I spended a lot of money on was Metal Slug, it was such an awesome game. And Shoot Many Robots, to me, delivers the same emotions.

Machines have gone mad. They attack everything that moves. Your mission, it’s in the title. Blasting your way through a mission is a lot of fun. The missions are two types, the one were you blast your way to the end where you fight a boss and survival. The levels are varied from villages to factories. Also they have different paths you can take, where you can find secret crates with different weapons and items inside. This game has an insane level of customization. You can change your main weapon, your special weapon which is very powerful but also has limited ammo, you can change your hat, torso and pants. Everyone of them has a different effect on your character. Playing with the customisation to get the perfect combination is very cool. There are a lot of this items that you unlock by leveling up and finding secret crates.

Hungry Giraffe Review

The premise of the game is really simple. You should continuously eat food to raise your giraffe’s head as much as you can.

You control the head of a giraffe. You gain momentum by eating different foods like burgers, chips, fruits etc. This propels the head up into space. Missing the food will cause losing the momentum and your giraffe head will start to fall. You can regain the lost momentum by eating food very quickly or using the “power-ups”, which you have to eat while falling down, to propel the head up again very fast. Such “power-ups” are a chilli pepper or a hard hat.

Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Review

Modern Warfare 3 is the third and final game, I think, in the series and let me tell you, it is the best of the three!

The game continues the story of Price and Soap trying to find and end Makarov’s life. It starts with a cinematic intro summarizing what has happened in MW2. Then it begins Call of Duty style. You take control Yuri, an ex-spetsnaz who hates Makarov more than Price and Soap combined. Why? Play the game to find out. Soap is badly injured , from MW2 ending, so you and Price and other fellows must protect him while a doctor patches him up. Lots and lots of enemy soldiers come at you and I think you know what might happen next… :D

Infamous: Festival of Blood Review

One of the PS3’s best franchises gets an infusion of fresh blood with the Infamous: Festival of Blood DLC. The standalone add-on changes things up considerably for Cole McGrath, turning the lightning-throwing hero into a bloodsucking vampire.

Infamous’ humorous slant has returned, and the tongue-in-cheek story is entertaining but poorly fleshed out. The story is a fictional one as it’s narrated by Zeke. There is also a Twilight joke pulled by him. He creates this story about Cole forced to revive Bloody Mary. She wakes up and bite Cole, turning him into a vampire. Now he must fight vampires all night and find a weapon that could kill Bloody Mary before sunlight. If he doesn’t kill her before sunlight, he will become her slave…forever.

Canabalt Review

Run for your life…”  says it all. The premise is simple. You play as a guy who is running across roof tops attempting to escape from some kind of alien invasion that is constantly taking place in the background scenery. If he even tumbles into a crate or chair, he loses a little speed but keeps going. That speed loss, though, can prove catastrophic when he reaches a gap that is suddenly too wide to cross without adequate velocity.

I played the game in the PS3 and I loved it every moment of it. One button input doesn’t mean the game is easy. Instead it can get very serious extremely fast. There is a lot of things happening in the background. The city scape is on fire, there is a machine that looks like a AT-AT from Star Wars. Also from time to time something like a satellite dish falls from the sky and if it touches you, your screen goes white until you fall to your death.
