Ace Armstrong vs. The Alien Scumbags Review

As I said before, Laughing Jackal has made some of the best Minis titles to date, but with Ace Armstrong vs The Alien Scumbags that’s not the case.

The game features our hero Ace Armstrong in a quest to defeat the Scumbags who have invaded earth. That’s it, the whole story. The game it’s a side-scrolling shoot ’em up. You fly in Ace’s spaceship blasting away waves of aliens. Along the main gun, which is a blaster, the spaceship can suck different colored orbs and acquire alien weapons such as lasers, three point blaster etc.

OMG-Z Review

OMG-Z is a chain-reaction zombie game from Laughing Jackal. Chain-reaction zombie game ??? Yes, the game is as crazy as it sounds. A virus is turning everyone into zombies and you, a faceless elite cop, must stop it. How? By shooting a zombie you starts a chain reaction of exploding zombies, but as the game gives you only three shoots per level you must be patient and wait for the perfect moment to fire.

Worms Ultimate Mayhem Review

The latest game in the Worms series is Worms Ultimate Mayhem which was released September 28, 2011 for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.

The game is a mix of content from two other Worms titles, Worms 3D and Worms 4: Mayhem. The campaign is identical to the one in Worms 4. But the main task is killing enemy worms.

Zack Zero Review

The first game from spanish developers Crocodile Entertainment, Zack Zero is 3D side-scroller platformer in which you take control of the hero Zack in the quest to save the universe and his girlfriend from the grasp of the evil Zulrog.

The story is really straightforward. Zack must traverse a planet to save his girlfriend who has been kidnapped and at the same time he has to stop Zulrog from finishing his time machine which he will use to change the history. All of this is narrated through cutscenes like the 90′ cartoons. Other reviewers said that the voice actor was one of the worst ever, but I really liked him cause he narrates the story like grandparents narrate stories to their grandsons, changing the tone to evoke different emotions.

Shank 2 Review

Shank 2 is the sequel to the 2010 Shank and let me tell you that the sequel is better and bigger than the first one.

You take role of Shank, a dude on steroids with an immense desire to kill people. The story is simple. Shank must rescue his old friend but in the way of doing so he become part of the rebellion to overthrow the dictatorship of Magnus. He goes into a killing spree, destroying everything in it’s path, be that thugs, amazonian warriors and even animals. He is fueled by rage. There are some epic moments in the game like Shank cutting a helicopter in half with the chainsaw or ripping the jaws of a shark.
