PayDay The Heist Review

A game that lets you rob a bank? Bring it on. PayDay: The Heist is the first game from Overkill Software. Featuring a similar formula to the Left 4 Dead series, the game puts you in charge of completing challenging heists cooperatively with up to three friends or solo with the help of three bots. The overall package is a fun and a welcome addition to the PlayStation Network and PC.

Sniper Elite V2 Review

Sniper Elite V2 is the direct sequel to the 2005 Sniper Elite. I rememeber the time when I played the first one in my PS2. Sniper Elite offered a lengthy single-player game full of tense and rewarding moments, but it required a lot of patience to truly enjoy. And with V2, Rebellion delivers the same experience.

Blue Toad Murder Files Ep.1 Review

Relentless Software is famous for the BUZZ!! franchise, but I didn’t know anything about the Blue Toad Mystery Files game. So I contacted them for more information about the game. They replied and asked if I could try the game. I searched the game on Playstation Store and found that the first episode was free. I immediately downloaded it and started playing. In Blue Toad Murder Files: The Mystery of Little Riddle you play as a detective investigating a string of mysterious crimes that take place in the village. It’s a beautiful game with challenging puzzles, a well written story, and a wonderful sense of charm.

Dino Run SE Review

Dino Run SE is an expanded and improved version of the classic Pixeljam game. Escape the wall of doom caused by the asteroid and find your dino sanctuary in this single / multiplayer retro-styled action platformer.

The concept is really simple: run from one to the other end of the level to escape from the wall of doom while avoiding different obstacles as other dinosaurs, asteroids, big boulders etc. If the wall catch up, you are literally toasted. Running and jumping is really fun and very addictive.

Ace Armstrong vs. The Alien Scumbags Review

As I said before, Laughing Jackal has made some of the best Minis titles to date, but with Ace Armstrong vs The Alien Scumbags that’s not the case.

The game features our hero Ace Armstrong in a quest to defeat the Scumbags who have invaded earth. That’s it, the whole story. The game it’s a side-scrolling shoot ’em up. You fly in Ace’s spaceship blasting away waves of aliens. Along the main gun, which is a blaster, the spaceship can suck different colored orbs and acquire alien weapons such as lasers, three point blaster etc.

Orbit Review

Laughing Jackal has made some of the best Minis title to date. Orbit is one of them. Orbit is an action arcade game where you launch a dude to collect gold into the space. I ask myself “How can you come up with an idea like this ?”

OMG-Z Review

OMG-Z is a chain-reaction zombie game from Laughing Jackal. Chain-reaction zombie game ??? Yes, the game is as crazy as it sounds. A virus is turning everyone into zombies and you, a faceless elite cop, must stop it. How? By shooting a zombie you starts a chain reaction of exploding zombies, but as the game gives you only three shoots per level you must be patient and wait for the perfect moment to fire.
