A Vision of our World in A Billion Years | Torment Feature

inXile Entertainment together with Techland Publishing have released a video feature that gives players a glimpse into the depth and variety that awaits them in the uniquely mysterious world of Torment: Tides of Numenera.

The game takes place in the rich science-fantasy setting created by pen and paper roleplaying game legend, Monte Cook. With the setting of Earth one billion years into the future in place, inXile Entertainment then let their team of seasoned writers run wild and conjure up the type of story that that has yet to be seen in games. The list of writers associated to the game includes game luminaries such as Colin McComb (Planescape: Torment, Fallout 2), George Ziets (Neverwinter Nights 2: Mask of the Betrayer, Pillars of Eternity), Gavin Jurgens-Fyhrie (Diablo III, Zero Horizon Dawn), and Chris Avellone (Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II, Fallout: New Vegas, Pillars of Eternity, Prey) to name but a few.

The game will comes out early 2017 and will be available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
