OMG-Z Review

• written by Krist Duro

OMG-Z is a chain-reaction zombie game from Laughing Jackal. Chain-reaction zombie game ??? Yes, the game is as crazy as it sounds. A virus is turning everyone into zombies and you, a faceless elite cop, must stop it. How? By shooting a zombie you starts a chain reaction of exploding zombies, but as the game gives you only three shoots per level you must be patient and wait for the perfect moment to fire.

There are different types of zombies that you can shoot, example the normal zombie that explodes, the policeman zombie which explodes and fires a bullet, the soldier zombie which explodes and fire two bullets, the acid zombie which drops a pool of acid. Or you can shoot a barrel of oil and watch zombies burn, explode and setting of gory chain reactions.

The game features a monochromatic scheme, so the only colors you will see are grey and red. For a Minis title, this game looks really good even when it's played on the PS3 on a big HDTV. Sure it is a little rough around the edges, but hey it's a Minis title on a big screen.

The game is very addictive and very long as it features over 81 levels. Throw in all the medals and the upgrades you can unlock, you might be playing this game for a while.

8.5/10
