Mini Ninjas out today for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch

Square Enix today announces that Mini Ninjas, the ultimate ninja console adventure game, is now available on iOS mobile devices, priced £0.69/€0.89/$0.99.

The lightning-paced, beautifully styled adventure reunites fans with their favourite characters from Mini Ninjas and stays faithful to original storyline, whilst providing charmingly addictive and new fun for all.

In this new game, exclusive to mobile and tablet devices, you play as Hiro and friends, as they run, jump and slash their way through the immersive ancient lands bursting with colour and intrigue. Your ultimate aim is to retrieve the stolen artefact from the dragon, and rescue your fellow Ninjas on the way. Each character has unique powers that will help defeat the Evil Samurai Warlord’s magical army, whose forbidden magic has turned all animals into minions.

Players collect Kuji Energy to upgrade and unlock new powers for your Mini Ninja. There is an extensive range of customisation features, achievements and unlockable content available to users in the Dojo, your game hub. Bringing something new to the endless runner genre, you’ll now have the ability to craft items using your collectibles, creating new power-ups and equipment. Also available is a fantastic array of customisable outfits and potions, to earn and purchase, which will help Hiro during his battles.

Mini Ninjas the TV series has also been announced, in partnership with TF1 Productions. The show will be a 2D HD animated action-comedy for kids, following the adventures of a new generation of cool and lovable ninja characters. Trained by their Ninja Master, the Ninjas fight to liberate innocent animals transformed into fearsome samurais by the wizard warlord Ashida.

To welcome the Mini Ninjas to their new iOS home, Square Enix are celebrating with a discounted sale across selected titles in the app store.
